Life, world and biodiversity.

Although life cannot be defined as depicted .... but by nature a curious human being has been trying to understand different creatures from the beginning of civilization to know their nature strangeness.  Life is flourishing in the peaks, desert plains, rivers.  Millions of types of animals, plants, bacteria, etc. are found on earth.
The diversity of all these organisms is called biodiversity.
Broadly it is divided into three parts.

 1. species
 2. genetic
 3. ecological diversity.

In simple words, understand that a cow is a cow, it is not a deer, it is a deer, it cannot become a lion.  At the same time, the deer of the field is equipped with different characteristics from the deer of the mountain, while the deer of the mountain have some special characteristics according to the environment of the field.  The difference in characteristics between organisms between their different species and between their habitat areas is called biodiversity.

The country in which more types of animals, plants, trees, fruits and flowers are found, it is considered as rich country in terms of biodiversity.  Its India is counted among the richest countries in terms of biodiversity in the world.  India is not just called a holy land, Paras Mani.  India's area accounts for only 2.5% of the world's area, but 14% of the world's flora and fauna are found here.  In India there are 2546 types of salt and fresh water fish, 198 types of amphibians, frogs, turtles, which can live in both waters, 1331 types of birds, 408 types of reptiles, 430 mammal types, as well as 50000 types of animals.

Variety of vegetation, 15000 types of flowers are found on the land of India, this is a species, then their subspecies, then this number reaches into millions of crores, more than 50,000 varieties of paddy are available in India, there are so many species of wheat.  Hundreds of thousands of species of fruits and vegetables like Luffa Pumpkin Mango are also found in India, it is different that we are not serious about their conservation. Human beings cannot create biodiversity in the laboratory of science.  Is.  For example, the bony varieties of wheat and paddy which were useful in the Green Revolution have been developed from the original natural varieties with changes in the genetic structure.  Life and biodiversity are synonymous with each other.

Now considering the importance of biodiversity, we all know the importance of life.  Our food, our medicine, whatever our known unknown needs to live, all of them are met by biodiversity.  Whether a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian is dependent on biodiversity for all food, not only food, the whole world economy is running on the basis of biodiversity.  If we look at our own body, then billions of types of bacteria are found in our digestive system especially auto, which are called friendly bacteria, these friendly bacteria make hormones like dopamine, serotonin, melatonin in the lining of the intestines ... which control the operation of the brain  This is the reason why the intestines are also called the second brain.

Most of the mental patients are also stomach patients. Talking about the plant world, more than 78% nitrogen gas in the atmosphere.  The Rhizobium bacteria group present in the root glands of the tree plants converts it into nitrogen fertilizer, which provides nutrition to the tree plants.  In the Sanatan Vedic culture, conservation of biodiversity has been respected every moment and every step of the way.  Used to do  Variety of trees and wildlife were nurtured in the ashram. This ashram itself was a protected area.  Where the entry of human beings who exploited the flora to harm any animal was prohibited.

The food-related needs of the sages were also met through biodiversity, through various wild fruits, flowers, tubers, etc... The contribution that innumerable sages like Bharadwaj Agastya Durvasa, Agira, and Kanva contributed to the conservation of biodiversity.  Incredibly unique.  Today, India has 89 national parks, more than 500 wildlife sanctuaries, 21 bird sanctuaries, and 15 biosphere reserves, for the protection of animals, and trees, yet year after year the biodiversity of India along with the world is declining.60,000  More than 2,000 species of flora and fauna are on the verge of extinction.  The work of saving biodiversity, which our ancestors used to do free of cost, our forest dwellers living in the forests.

Even after spending crores of billions of rupees, it is not possible.  Today's man is reportedly highly educated but he is not cultured or civilized... Biodiversity is in danger due to the cutting of forests, hunting, environmental pollution, and population explosion. Today's Manuj neither knows nor believes in the teachings of Vedas.  In the Vedas, the father of all living beings, God has been told, the third mantra of the 23rd chapter of Yajurveda is as follows.

Ya: Pranato Nimishto Mahitvaik Indraja Jagto Babahuva.
Ya ishe asya dwipadashtushpad: kasmai devay havisha videm 4॥

Meaning- God is the father of all living beings, he is the single supreme lord of all living beings.  Whether it is two-footed or four-footed, God is the lord of all living beings who breathe or blink.

Late Pandit Satyapal Pathik ji has done a very beautiful interpretation of this mantra in the form of a song.

In the world of countless creatures, the giver of all is one.
The father of all fathers, the world mother is one.
It is present everywhere in Jarre Jarre.
Laughing and smiling is the one in all these flowers.
 I don't understand that much.

There are crores of people who eat, but there is only one who feeds.
Since 1993, World 'Biodiversity Day' is celebrated simultaneously on 22nd May all over the world. The theme of this year's Biodiversity Day is Building a shared future for all life.  The things that the world fraternity, the United Nations Association of Climate Change, Environment Protection Societies, are promoting today, those things are visible in our culture from moment to moment.  That is why the sages have said that the creator of all of us is one, the world of all of us is one.  Come, let's take a pledge to save biodiversity together on May 22, if you plant a tree too, then suppose you have increased one step towards fulfilling your duty.  If you are feeding a bird, you are giving water, then you are saving biodiversity, every person can save biodiversity and by doing so, you can also protect the future of your generation.

Thank you.
